Arien Smith’s story began in North Carolina, where he grew up without his father, who passed away when Arien was just 2 years old. Despite this loss, Arien found solace and strength in sports, specifically football, and excelled in his academic pursuits. He earned two full academic scholarships and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science / Pre-Med.

In late 2015, Arien moved to Los Angeles, initially intending to explore his passions before continuing on the medical track. However, he fell in love with fitness and the impact he could make as a personal trainer, particularly for celebrity and entertainment industry clients. After working at several gyms, Arien struck out on his own and began transforming lives, helping clients achieve their goals.

Arien’s genuine care and expertise have earned him a high level of trust from his clients, many of whom turn to him before their doctors. His commitment to fitness and well-being fuels his passion for helping others unlock their full potential and live healthier, happier lives.

WHERE IT STARTED

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL

A testament to his dedication, Arien played center for the Division 1 Football team at UNC Chapel Hill. Throughout his college career, he faced the challenge of maintaining his weight of 295 lbs to compete at a high level. This experience provided him with unique insights into the importance of nutrition and how the body responds to various diets and training regimens.

PLANT BASED 6 YRS

A LIFE-CHANGING DIET TRANSITION

After graduating and moving to Los Angeles, Arien embarked on a life-changing journey. Determined not to become an overweight former athlete, he initially lost weight by making some dietary changes and incorporating a consistent workout regimen. But it wasn’t until he decided to transition to a plant-based diet that he experienced a significant transformation. Despite initial struggles, Arien found simple, nutritious, and satisfying vegan meals that helped him shed more body fat while retaining his muscle mass.

Now, after almost three years on a plant-based diet, Arien weighs around 225 lbs and feels healthier and more energetic than ever before. His personal experience serves as a testament to the power of adopting a plant-based lifestyle.
